Healing with Zoë – Private Psychotherapy Services

I am a UKCP accredited child and adolescent psychotherapist; a member of BACP and an accredited professional of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). I currently work in private practice with adults, young people, children and families. However, I have previous experience working in the NHS, charities, and the educational instituitions since 2006.

My extensive training as an integrative child and adolescent psychotherapist and my background in CBT and couples counselling means I can work with clients aged 5 years old to adults.

I approach my work in a way that puts my clients at the centre of everything. It is vital that you feel safe in the space and for my method of working with you to resonate. I therefore don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach and understand that talking therapy may not suit everyone. I believe in using the therapeutic value of the arts and often pull-on art, music and sand as some of the ways of exploring difficult emotions that can be difficult to verbally communicate.

As an integrative psychotherapist, my approach is client-centred, which means I work in a bespoke way to suit you, your child or family, and I offer a free initial consultation where I am happy to discuss your needs in more detail.

• North Finchley

This is because I am a member of UKCP and bound by the UKCP code of ethics and professional practice which includes not including testimonials from clients in any advertising. As a professional working with a significant number of children and young people, this is even more crucial when holding in mind their vulnerabilities.
